Rainbows [My choice/Quatrain]

Rainbows only come out after the rain,
it gives the sky a colourful stain.
Peeking out between the clouds,
they stare in awe in great crowds.

Rainbows paint the sky,
they make you believe that you could fly.
Ride that rainbow high and low,
just share that joy wherever you go.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet,
it makes you feel like you are in such a serene climate.
All the colours dance in the sky so high,
they seem to be waving goodbye.

If you follow a rainbow you'll find a pot of gold,
just beware it might be guarded by a leprechaun so old.
Do rainbows ever end?
No, they live in your heart like a good friend.

Rainbows only come out after the rain,
each colour in its own separate lane.
It peeks up behind a cloud,
every rainbow deserves to be wowed

Spring is Here [Literary Devices/Onomatopoeia]

The flowers are peaking through,
the birds are chirping.
tweet tweet
As you twirl around in the grass,
the wind is whistling through vibrant new leaves.
swoosh swoosh
The squishing of fine smelling lush soil,
as you walk across the sunparched field.
squish squish
You start to hum a jolly tune,
the gentle buzz of a fly passing by.
bzz bzz
Children giggling while frolicking in the garden,
the faint trickle of dew in the fresh spring morning.
drip drip
As you look around you,
you must think to yourself,
Oh, what a beautiful spring.

pretty, priceless, lovely
splendid, shiny

Clouds in the Sky [Free Verse]

There was a
CLOUD

In the
sky
and it
floated

It looked like a
marshmellow

The way it
seems to dance
all across
the sky
